It is in a strip mall just northwest of Lake Calhoun and across the street from the Whole Foods. There is plenty of parking.
We are going to give this a try for a bit and see if we like it as a meeting place for the winter months. From here we can easily choose to either go around Calhoun or Lake of the Isles.
Not held on the first Sunday in October due to Twin Cities Marathon. Not held on the days of Twin Cities Race Walkers Events except for the April and November events which are held in conjunction with this weekly walk.
|6pm||Concession, 1300 Lexington Pkwy N, Saint Paul – just off Lexington Ave at Como Lake. This is a day of easy walking with short bursts of faster speeds thrown in for variety. We regroup and chat a bit after each 1.6 mile lap of Como Lake. We adjust speeds so that we usually have only 1 or 2 groups of walkers. The group walks counterclockwise around the lake, so if you come after 6pm, just start walking clockwise and you will find us. Bathrooms and water are available at Como Park Concession all year round. Thanks to Charities Challenge for organizing this weekly event. Contact Person: Bruce Leasure|
|8:30am||Hyland Park Spring, Summer, Fall – If you are interested in meeting with others to walk on the paved trails in Hyland Park Reserve in Bloomington, MN on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM, contact Anita Macias-Howard.

We walk the paved trails around the park. Usually about an hour and we go around 4 to 8 km, but stick around if you feel like more
