Racewalking 101
A 1-hour introduction to racewalking - Details
& Handout.
Offered once each month, May-September on the second Monday of the month.
6pm-7pm at Como Lake - meet at the Black Bear statue.
Cost: $5
Judging 101
You will be a USATF/MN Association level racewalk judge after successfully
completing this course. Learn how to apply the two rules governing the technique
of racewalking. Learn the mechanics of racewalk judging. Complete the
paperwork involved in becoming a USATF certified official and racewalk judge.
Offered: 8am-Noon, April 19, at the TCRW Spring Fling.
Cost: No charge for the course, but USATF will charge you for a copy of the rules
($15), for becoming
a member ($30), and for becoming a certified official ($15).

Unjudged Racewalking Events
You can racewalk in almost any running road race you see advertised. You may
not get any special recognition or award, but passing some slower runners near
the finish feels pretty darn good.
Charities Challenge always has a racewalk division in their road events.
